If you are interested in trying out for the 2008-2009 cheer team, please come to the CHEER INFORMATION MEETING on Thursday, April 10th at 6 PM in Carver Gym C.

You must bring a letter of recommendation or a phone number from a cheer or gymnastics coach, advisor or teacher.

We will distribute a packet of information including insurance forms, waivers and the tryout schedule at the meeting. If you cannot attend the meeting, please e-mail Debbie Jackson at djbbmom@hotmail.com, put WWU Cheer in the subject heading, and we will mail the information to you. However, please attend the meeting if at all possible. This year there is a $25 fee for trying out and that check is to: Viking Cheer This must be paid on May 2nd or before.

We have hired a great stunt coach named Travis Anderson who will run the tryouts. the tryout dates are: FRIDAY, MAY 2ND FROM 4-8PM AND SATURDAY MAY 3RD FROM 9-3PM. You must be available both days to be able to try out.
