In her first season as a graduate assistant at Western, Teichler will work primarily with the Viking catchers and will coordinate and implement the team's strength and conditioning program.

A four-year letterwinner at Western, Teichler ranks among the program's career leaders in hits (4th-153), doubles (2nd-30) and RBI (5th-80). In 2007, Teichler hit .368 with 40 RBI earning GNAC Player of the Year and First-Team all-West Region accolades.

The Sammamish, Washington native graduated from WWU in 2008 with a degree in excercise science and is currently pursuing her M.A. in human movement and performance.
